USA - Fishing Boat Pollutes Morro Bay with Oil Spill... A crain lifts a commercial fishing boat that spewed hundreds of gallons of fuel into the bay after it took on water and sank in Morro Bay, California. Authorities responded shortly before 6 a.m. to the boat, which had been moored to a pier, said Coast Guard Chief Kirk McKay. The 62-foot vessel was completely submerged when crews arrived and had leaked about 300 to 400 gallons of diesel fuel, McKay said. No one was injured. Phil Klein/photo
